Donald Trump is claiming that he could only campaign in a 750-seat theater because Vice President Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are using Secret Service assets to protect the President of Iran, who he claims is “doing everything possible to kill me.”

He said the reason they had to use such a small venue was due to a lack of Secret Service protection.

The campaign did not elaborate on the claims, and it is unclear if the threats are new or are referencing past incidents. The Iranian government has not commented on the claims, but has previously denied any claims that it was attempting to interfere in US affairs.


The Secret Service did confirm that its assets were “pushed to their limit” securing the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, according to CBS News. There is no indication that any of their agents were intentionally denied to Trump at the behest of Harris or Biden.

The campaign rally was originally scheduled to take place outdoors at an airport on Saturday, but was ultimately moved to the smaller, indoor venue.

Half the people that showed up left before he was done talking. I read that they SS told him he would have to hire extra security people when he is playing golf because they do not have enough manpower to adequately secure and open golf course a couple times a week and on short notice. First, of course, the number of attendees is dwindling with every rally, and we know a lot of people who do show up leave early. They are trying to limit the number of empty seats which might be seen on camera.

Second, the bigger the venue, the more it costs, and they quite simply either can't afford to pay for larger venues or refuse to pay for them.
