The usual way fascists wage aggressive war is by manufacturing a threat from the victim/target
On the one hand, it's going to be difficult to paint Greenland/Denmark as a threat to the US. On the other, the maximum cynicism would be to say we need to seize control of Greenland for climate reasons. I can see the media going along with that.
