Palin keeping door open to joining Trump administration

Source: The Hill

02/15/25 9:25 AM ET

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) signaled Friday that she would be honored to serve in President Trump’s second administration but admitted she hasn’t been reached out to.

“I thought that there would be a position in Energy in that Department because that’s my baby is wanting energy independence for America. You know, that’s all about security and sovereignty of our nation is to be energy independent,” she said Friday in an interview with NewsNation’s Leland Vittert. “But that hasn’t happened.”

Palin, who ran for vice president alongside the late Sen. John McCain in the 2008 presidential election, argued there are “gatekeepers” in the administration — pointing to her inability to receive credentials to attend the 2024 Republican National Convention last July.

“I didn’t even get credentials to attend the GOP convention, if you can believe it. I mean, wow, they’re tight,” she said, adding, “And I’m the only living Republican nominee who had run for VP or president who supported Trump. And even I couldn’t get in.” “So, you know, yeah, they’re pretty tight … but I’d love to serve,” the former GOP governor told NewsNation’s “On Balance” anchor.

they are not younger......look at his gaggle of recent hags.......Almost all are "has beens", far from young, they all look like they have been ridden hard and put away wet. They aspire to make a come back, go out and get a TON of plastic surgery, including a "Republican Rack" and try to slime their way back into public light.

Boebert, MTG, Bondi, Noem, that broad from Arizona, the "Conway" twat that was always near him and defending him during his first occupation, I can't even remember all the names of them,........ the list is endless.

"I need a job and Wendy's won't hire me, so I'm going to work for Trump."

The sad thing is, she wouldn't be the most disastrous addition to Trump's crew. It's going to take a whole lot to beat out RFK Jr and Musk for that title. She also wouldn't be benign...it's not like she understands how the petroleum industry really works.

Helpful hint: A refinery can't refine any oil presented to it. Because there are many kinds of crude oil with different boiling points and composition, you have to design your systems to work with a specific kind of oil. This is copied directly from the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers' website:

Re-tooling refineries to process solely U.S. crude oil (light crude) would cost billions — a risky investment that would take decades to permit, construct and eventually pay off. We lack the infrastructure (like pipelines) needed to cost effectively supply U.S crude oil and refined products to every region. Even if the economics of re-tooling our facilities worked, it can take close to a decade to permit and build pipelines in the United States.

Instead, the way the system is designed is to export US crude oil to nations that have the right refineries for it, and to import crudes that our refineries can process. And just so you know, more crude oil goes out of the US than comes into it.

"The Death Eaters, also previously known as the Knights of Walpurgis,[13] were the main followers of Lord Voldemort. The group primarily consisted of witches and wizards who were radical pure-blood supremacists and who practised the Dark Arts with reckless abandon, malevolence, and without regard to or fear of wizarding law, although some of them joined him out of fear or were blackmailed to do so.[1]"

"They were a motley collection; a mixture of the weak seeking protection, the ambitious seeking some shared glory, and the thuggish gravitating toward a leader who could show them more refined forms of cruelty."
