"Everything You Need To Know About The NRA’s Wayne LaPierre"

"The National Rifle Association’s CEO and executive vice president Wayne LaPierre finally broke the organization’s silence about the Newtown, Connecticut shooting at a press conference today, delivering a long indictment of the media violence and its demonization of gun owners. LaPierre will also appear on NBC’s Meet the Press this Sunday"

No wonder the NRA and it's associates don't want to have assault weapon control...they make too much Profit. It's been said that the gun sellers had the most profitable day after the Sandy Hook killings.
Another note:
Who the hell have we become by pleading to the NRA for gun control? Since when did the NRA own America?
In honor of all the "movers" who have parished, I have become a "changer". I like shooting my guns, but not to kill or harm people. I don't own assault weapons because I don't plan on killing anyone. I realize assault weapons are to some people as muscle cars are to others. But we gotta have more contol over these powerful weapons. Maybe ration the guns and ammunition?? Find the companies and businesses that contribute or support the NRA, then have a consumer strike until they pull away from or contribute more money to the mess left behind by these mentally-ill killers??
These are just a few ideas. It's my contribution of being one of "The Changers"

Here's the link

It's the same thing the NRA is saying now. So see, they don't care...the more killings, the more the NRA profits. Pitiful.

But guess what? The NRA doesn't own America.

or played the true game of politics until President Obama did in the last election. He had hard hitting adds and in debates 2 and 3 he challenged repug bullshit.

if someone with money like Bloomberg is willing to fund races against the nra. their power will disappear. they have about 250 million in revenue. Even double it and its a pittance compaired to what some of the billionaires like bloomberg can get into play.

it would be wonderful to put the nra out of business and thousands will survive.

of the weapons, and says absolutely nothing about ammunition...as I recall. So charge a whole lot and just like when someone picks up a prescription that is a "controlled substance" from a pharmacy, make them show their driver's license and gun permit and get a signature. Not that hard. Ultimately the unregistered/illegal owners will either run out of ammunition and others won't be as quick to make the buy for them.

WalMart knows how it's done. Just make a special "line" for guns, ammo and the like...send over a supervisor when someone rings the bell, and send them on their way.

Anyone who purchased ammo had their name placed in a ledger and held on file. It was repealed in 1986 because it was found to be of no actual usefulness to law enforcement

So we could do it again, this time requiring ID, permit and signature for both guns and ammo. That would actually be fairly easy to implement.

Crimes of all types, and violent crimes in particular, have been in decline for years, but everyone's convinced the opposite's the case because they hear about it all the time in the news.

That their GAWD say its his will for babies to die because and guns are the solution. I watched a lot of the 2012 Mayans 12/21/2012, were they sacrifice a lot of children and still perished leaving their structures for modern man to study.

power and influence until the gun ban legislation in the 1990's.

For 50 years until the 1994, the Democratic Party had control of the House of Representatives. In his autobiography, Bill Clinton attributed the loss of the House in 1994, in signifigant part, to the gun ban legislation.

The Republicans currently control Congress. They are not going to pass anti-gun legislation. It's not going to happen.

Wayne LaPierre knows that.

in the NRA's book b/c the only gun legislation he has passed has been what the NRA wanted. He'll, if you believe Fox News (yeah right), Obama was only trying to spread guns sales to other countries for the gun manufacturers with the Fast and Furious debacle. IT IS THE MAJORITY OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THAT WANT SOMETHING DONE SO THAT INNOCENT CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE TO DIE! BLAME US MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!
