Leavitt answered that while the president supports free speech and the right to protest, “that is not the majority of the behavior that we have seen taking place in Los Angeles.”


“So are you saying the majority of these protests have not been peaceful?” Sanger continued.

A visibly agitated Leavitt then pointed out that almost 400 illegal aliens had been arrested, to which Sanger noted there had been thousands of people on the streets.

....... Leavitt concluded by saying the president would not stray from his mission to deport illegal immigrants from the country - and abruptly walked out merely twenty six minutes into press briefing.....................

A lot of media focuses so much on the drama and violence that you might think that's ALL of what's going on in the protests. But elected and appointed officials should make it their business to know ALL the facts on the ground before shaping policy. UNLESS, of course, such officials have no interest or concern about the facts and would rather push fantasies to further their agendas.
