US Envoy Kellogg, Canadian PM Carney arrive in Kyiv for Ukraine's Independence Day

U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney are among foreign officials who have arrived in Kyiv to mark Ukraine's 34th Independence Day on Aug. 24.

"On this Ukrainian Independence Day, and at this critical moment in their nation’s history, Canada is stepping up our support and our efforts towards a just and lasting peace for Ukraine," Carney wrote on X following his arrival in the Ukrainian capital.

He later posted a video congratulating Ukraine, also noting that Canada was one of the first countries to recognize Ukraine as a sovereign country back in 1991.

According to Zelensky, the defense ministers of Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Lithuania, and Latvia, as well as the U.K. Minister for Veterans Affairs, are also in Ukraine for Independence Day. ..............

"He's highly respected in Ukraine, in contrast to many other representatives of the Trump administration. He is very knowledgeable about Ukraine, it has to be admitted, and he shows in-depth of the military and political situation on the ground, and it's really appreciated."

Of course, Trump doesn't use him for talks; he uses the uninformed, inexperienced Witkoff, whose family is doing crypto scams with Trump's.
