The entire population of Gaza would be relocated and the United States would take control of the Palestinian territory under a plan being considered by the Trump administration, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

The enclave reduced to rubble in Israel's war prompted by the Hamas attack of 2023 would be transformed into a trusteeship administered by the United States for at least 10 years, the newspaper said.

Another goal of the plan modeled on President Donald Trump's stated vision of making it the "Riviera of the Middle East" is to transform Gaza -- land which the Palestinians want to be part of a future state -- into a tourism resort and high tech hub, said the Post, which viewed a 38-page prospectus outlining the initiative.

It calls for at least temporary relocation of all of Gaza's population of two million, either through "voluntary" departures to another country or into restricted, secured zones inside the enclave during reconstruction, the newspaper said.

Initial costs would be financed using as collateral the 30 percent of Gaza land that planners have said is already “publicly” owned and would immediately belong to the trust. That is “the biggest and easiest. No need to ask anyone,” Tancman noted in the margin of one trust planning document seen by The Post. “I’m afraid to write that,” Eisenberg replied in a note, “because it could look like appropriation of land.”

So steal the land owned by all Palestinians to finance building homes for the Israeli squatters known as "settlers". Sounds like a repeat of the Partition and the Nakba. Brought to you by the same Iaraeli billionaires and ex-military and intelligence who concocted the Death Traps known as the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

The plan talks of Gaza’s location “at the crossroads” of what will become a “pro-American” region, giving the United States access to energy resources and critical minerals, and serving as a logistics hub for the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor that was first announced during the Biden administration but derailed by the Israel-Gaza war.

As they say in real estate, it's location, location, location. Goes a long way to explaining Western complicity in Palestinians' genocide.
