President Donald Trump lashed out at ABC News late Sunday night, demanding the network “fire” contributor Donna Brazile and “more” compensation for criticism of him, referring to ABC’s 2024 defamation settlement.

The broadside came just hours after Brazile, the former DNC chair, appeared on ABC’s This Week to slam his axing of Secret Service protection from former Vice President Kamala Harris as “petty” and “vindictive.”

She also attacked Trump’s tariffs, which she said had “created a level of uncertainty that the American people can’t afford.”

Trump fired back by questioning why ABC employed her at all, before insisting the broadcaster owed him “more” after Brazile’s latest remarks:

I've been through this with 2 parents, 2 in-laws, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law. The decline isn't linear. It's choppy where the bad days increase, sometimes exponentially, and the good days decrease at the same rate. Then they rally for a short period. The old "gotta get better to die." Eventually, the final crash and they're done.

He fired back thru a long winded Truth Social tweet. The article does not make that clear. It implies he appeared in person but he only tweeted.

How do we know who is at the other end of the tweet? It could be anyone.
