House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) joined CNN on Wednesday to discuss his investigation into the Epstein Files and the recent document release from his committee.
Now for more on the Epstein case and the fallout on Capitol Hill, Republican Congressman and Chairman of the Oversight Committee, James Comer of Kentucky. Thank you so much for coming on. You are leading the Epstein probe in Congress and you released many documents last night, began anchor Pamela Brown.
Certainly did, Mr. Chairman. Thanks so much for being with us. Democrats on your committee say ninety-seven percent of the Epstein-related documents from the U.S. Justice Department released to the American people last night were already public. What do you say to that? pressed Wolf Blitzer.
Well, the 3% that werent publicthats 3% more than Joe Biden released when he was president. Look, President Trump is complying with our subpoena, with my subpoena. Hes turning over documents. We posted 34,000 last night. We expect to get more documents, Comer replied, conceding the document dump was comprised of mostly already public materials.

(9,230 posts)It's always got to be about President Biden.
Rep. Comer engages in a classic misdirection to make a rapist look good.
The harder they try to keep them hidden, the more obvious it is that there's a really big reason for them doing so.
Hey Comer, where's the beef?

It's as if you built a 97 meter high radio tower and then Eric tRump put a 3 meter mast on top and says "I built the tower".

(3,919 posts)documents, they released basically the same 30k or so they did back in Feb. If theres only 3% missing out of 30k or so all of this is over a few hundred pages? All of this uproar for a decade over a few hundred pages? Bondi had 100s of agents combing through a few 100 pages? My understanding was what was released this week was 97% the same as was in those binders back in Feb or whenever it was. Maybe I got it backwards. Plus I do not trust CNN at all.
