Paramount Global named former Hudson Institute CEO Kenneth Weinstein to serve as ombudsman of CBS News, assigning someone who led a conservative think tank and largely worked outside the traditional world of journalism to monitor the news unit’s reporting and scrutinize it against claims of bias...

Weinstein, a longtime policy analyst who has served as a Trump administration advisor, will fill that role.

I've had that service since 2021 when it started mainly for the NFL. Now they've cut off local stations unless pay for a much more expensive tier. They went in and hacked off the last four seasons of Perry Mason just for shits and giggles I guess seeing how THEY own the show.
