Watching the breaking news on MSNBC and a deal has been reached by Senate leaders to deal with the tax issues. Each side got something, but it took VP Biden to get it done. Full senate may vote tonight or early morning, but the House is gone.

More details coming in each hour.

those of us in the middle class are used to not having any left over money, we won't miss it like the rich will. We won't have to choose between giving up our summer home or our membership at the country club. They will have to make hard decisions over real sacrifices. We'll will just have to whine about the increase in food prices and then pay them anyway.

It is still a victory for the middle class, if the rich really had their way, we would be feeding the homeless to the hungry. Sort of a soylent green solution.

Either the House is out to celebrate the New year or they've been working oh so hard they had to get some sleep. Guess the rest of America can stay up and wonder if they will hang us out to dry in the morning.

I did not want to go to the New Year's party
and watch the baloon drop. I wanted to watch
the fiscal cliff. Just missed Rachel! Getting more
drunk with Lawrence! Got to go to bed!!!

With Social Security and Medicare I am on easy
street. Of course I walk a lot because I can't afford
to drive. My money is not important, why the hell
do they want it?
