2 people arrested after incendiary device left under Scripps News Group vehicle in Utah

Source: Scripps News

Two men were arrested after allegedly leaving an incendiary device underneath a Scripps News Group vehicle in Utah. The men, Adeeb Nasir, 58, and Adil Justice Ahmed Nasir, 31, were booked into jail and face multiple charges, including Threat of Terrorism, Possessing Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Possessing Explosive Devices.

The device underneath the vehicle was originally located on Friday and determined to be real. According to officials, the device had been lit but "failed to function."

Because of the type of device discovered and where it was located, it was considered a significant threat to public safety, leading the FBI to assume jurisdiction over the case. During the FBI investigation, the suspects were tracked to a Magna home.

On Saturday, the FBI served a warrant on the home, along with the Salt Lake City Police Department and Unified Fire bomb squads, to make sure no other explosive devices were a danger inside. The men were located at the home, and during the search, they told investigators that "two hoax weapons of mass destruction" that officials discovered were "real," the arrest report stated.

Have they forgotten which lie they're telling ??

The linked article quotes people at Fox promising to "protect their employees", and identifies a Fox station.

5. Apparently Scripps owns that station

From a CNN article - https://www.cnn.com/2025/09/15/media/utah-fox-13-kstu-van-explosive-device-two-arrested

Fox 13 News Utah is owned by Scripps. Stations like Fox 13 are affiliated with the Fox network but are not directly part of the Fox News Channel, the pro-Trump cable news network.

I know that Faux Snooze (as a cable channel) is separate from the OTA Fox stations, which are independently owned for the most part.

To further their own agendas.

We've seen this before. They want a US Civil War, and will drive every wedge to achieve it.

At some point, if we can't calm things down, we will have no choice but to try to win that war.

This case is gonna be treated like max risk from day one, because once it’s explosives and the FBI is involved, release isn’t just about money. It’s about whether a judge thinks you’re dangerous or a flight risk, so people expecting “just post bond and go home” are gonna be disappointed. I’ve had to deal with a basic county arrest in California and Alana's Bail Bonds helped me get out fast, but this Utah situation doesn’t look like that kind of case at all. Honestly I’d wait for the affidavit before buying any headline summary, because the details are what decides everything here.
