I personally think it would be a "gift" to America. I've noticed that here in Texas
we constantly demonize California, East of the Mississippi - the demonize NYC. I wish we could elect a "democratic socialist" here in Texas but it goes against the culture and will never happen.
Who is elected in NYC is up to the people of NYC.
