President Trump to undergo medical exam at Walter Reed, White House says

WASHINGTON ‒ President Donald Trump is set to undergo a medical checkup at Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday, Oct. 10, in what will be the 79-year-old president's second exam at Walter Reed this year.

His visit to the doctor comes after Trump in July was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency that has resulted in visible swelling in his lower legs near his ankles.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump will also take part in a "planned meeting" with troops at the facility and deliver remarks to them.

"While there, President Trump will stop by for his routine yearly checkup," Leavitt said in a statement, adding he might later in the day travel to the Middle East, where he is hoping to secure a peace deal between Israel and Hamas to end the war in Gaza.

he needs to "disappear" like he did over labor day for whatever they did to him then. It's a chronic issue and has to be dealt with on an ongoing basis... and it's not like he'll do anything "healthy" for himself! (LOL) They let it build up just so long and then they have to have him do a disappearing act so they can treat it all at once, to last for a few more weeks or month.
