It was different times no cell phones with cameras

And seeing Ray in the neighborhood was a
common thing and nobody would think of bothering him and BTW all the men in the neighborhood were WW II or Korean war vets too. Ray was a WW II hero top of his class @ Alleghany, top of his class @ Yale
Law, supported civil rights, the environment unions, education. Infrastructure, and the legalization of Marijuana too. His favorite thing was to play ball with the kids in the neighborhood.

He never had security with him but after RFK was murdered he had a very large man with him who Ray made play ball with
us kids.
