Federal Agents Crash Into Woman's Car, Drag Her Out by Her Legs

Source: The New Republic

Masked immigration officers in Chicago reportedly crashed into a woman’s car, pointed guns at her, dragged her out of her car by her legs—and then didn’t charge her with anything, The Chicago Tribune reported Monday.

As Dayanne Figueroa, a U.S. citizen, attempted to drive past a chaotic scene in West Town on Friday, an unmarked car collided with hers, according to multiple videos reviewed by the Tribune. Pedestrians had been yelling while drivers honked their horns to alert passerby that federal agents were making immigration arrests.

Federal agents exited the unmarked vehicle and trained their weapons on Figueroa. Agents forcibly opened her car door and pulled her out of her car by her legs, dragging her through the street. They did not identify themselves or tell her that she was under arrest.

Bystanders shouted: “You hit her! We have it on video!” Figueroa was then forced into a minivan and driven away, where she says she was transported to multiple undisclosed locations and denied the opportunity to contact family or legal counsel. Hours later, she was released without charges.

... that the systematic escalation in violence inflicted by ICE thugs is intended to provoke a similar response. Trump desperately wants any excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act, and declare Martial Law. And he couldn't care less about the potential loss of life, in fact he would welcome it; that's the way he's hard-wired.
It's gonna get ugly before it gets better.

They will escalate the violence no matter what we do, and Trump would invoke the Insurrection Act, and declare Martial Law no matter what we do. They don't need a excuse.

"They want us to fight back" strikes me as a call to surrender, similar to the oft-repeated idea that we need to be careful what we say lest the Republicans attack us for it.

EDIT: This article is a bit confusing. This ICE crime happened on Friday October 10 and was reported in the Trib on Monday Nov. 3

Date of collision: October 10, 2025
The woman the goons attacked and kidnapped was Dayanne Figueroa.

My original post was about the TikTok video I saw of this specific fascist gestapo lawlessness on Oct. 10, 2025 in Chicago. Updating this post because I scoured the internet for weeks looking for a name.

Go fund me with video of the crime committed by ICE goons.

ORIGINAL POST:
In a Chicago neighborhood, ICE goons smashed into a car, started to drive away, but then! The goons came back to the lady's car, drug her out of her car, and pinned her to the ground. It was captured on a phone cam or something, then posted to tik tok.

No warrant, no due process. The pigs crashed into her car, and they hauled her away in their van.

I kept checking to see if the woman (very small stature) was ever named. Came up empty.

She was just trying to get to work and the goons attacked her.

...first of all to sue a govt agency, and then with no details about which thug is guilty in any particular instance?

That's entirely apart from the fact that lawsuits don't work with these facists.

You need a jurisdiction or law that they have violated. In most cases of ICE kidnapping and abuse the Federal Torte Claims Act (FTCA) is used.

There is currently an issue in the 11th Circuit. But it seems the Supremes do support American citizens using FTCA when they have been attacked and kidnapped by ICE agents.

"Over the past five months, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) agents have arrested and deported U.S. citizens, caused car crashes during reckless pursuits, brandished weapons on unarmed children, and unnecessarily used force against elected officials. These are just a few of the egregious acts that federal law enforcement officers have committed since the Trump administration has ramped up its smash and grab deportation tactics. As an increasing number of people are injured by ICE and other federal law enforcement agents, clarity around pathways to accountability is more important than ever. Unfortunately, the U.S. Supreme Court opted to gently nudge—rather than clearly direct—the Eleventh Circuit to join the rest of the country in allowing victims of federal police abuse to sue when they are injured."

https://www.acslaw.org/expertforum/when-ice-agents-break-the-law-can-victims-sue-the-supreme-court-hints-yes-will-the-eleventh-circuit-listen/

If I read this correctly, it means the Supremes are siding with the victims and not necessarily the federal agents.

ICE has become the paramilitary wing of the Republican party. Their unofficial mission is turning to maintain state authority and the position of the ruling party, crushing all dissent.

Expect torture in these "undisclosed locations", and infiltration of workplaces and apartment buildings.

Now, there are two options and those are it's a lie and the other is it's true but they are fucking scared because they know that they broke some laws by hitting her vehicle and dragging her out especially if she wasn't involved in the protest.

I remember when this happened.

Do people realize that she could have disappeared forever? She was kidnapped. No due process. No booking. No rights. She could have been murdered, sold into sex trafficking, sold for her body parts. I know that sounds hysterical but it's literally the truth.

Supposed ICE agents with no badges, no identification, are snatching people and driving them to who knows where in unmarked vehicles.

WHY ARE WE ALLOWING THIS?!
