What little self governance he possessed is gone and he is unable to stop himself from speaking what's on his mind
Here's something I noticed while watching my father fall into dementia. He often used anger as a coping mechanism to boost his alertness. It made him unpredictable. We found him in the middle of escalating conflicts at times. He was unprepared for the consequences.
There are levels of stupid at this point and time that have yet to play out.
