'Terrible': Trump admin dragged as key jobs report yanked

Source: Raw Story

December 8, 2025 5:40PM ET

Political analysts and observers warned on Monday that President Donald Trump's latest move shows that "something is very wrong" with his economy, despite his claims that he has resurrected America's "Golden Age."

The Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on Monday that it was going to roll October's employment data into the November release that is scheduled to be published in January. Trump has worked to revamp the BLS during his second administration, going so far as to fire the agency's top statistician, Erika McEntarfer, in August after the BLS released a jobs report that contradicted Trump's messaging about the economy.

The news sparked backlash from analysts and observers on social media. "If the jobs report or the GDP report or the inflation report were good, the Trump Administration would have released them," Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) posted on X.

"Tough to make biz decisions without all the data," economist B. Dan Berger posted on X. "So much for economic transparency."

People expenditures are low in comparison than last year and I can see the dramatic decline. This economy is driven by credit cards and once Saint Nicholas reveals his presents on the 25th, there be virtually no spending by the populist. I seen it early last month when snap was withheld, it just seems people are either holding back or they have nothing to spend.

The fuse has been lit. The American economy will crater deeper than the Grand Canyon. The question is will it be a Bush 2008 recession or a full-on 1929-style depression.

mainly because there ARE still some "stopgap" measures that have been put in place after the 1987 crash and the 2007 - 2009 crash, that would halt a complete market meltdown like 1929 (at least right away, but possibly not in the future, since they have been chipping away at those measures).

Only woke losers want to know the numbers.

I fully suspect the economy is worse than they're saying. I expect a stock market correction and AI bubble burst sooner or later. So much is artificially propped up by inflation and circular investments. The longer it's delayed, the worse it will likely be.

... Just think of what numbers you would like to see, put those into a report, and publish.

No counting, no statisticalistic maths, easy-peasy.

20. Delayed Again?
Tue Dec 9, 2025, 04:02 PM

The November Jobs report would normally be released on the first Friday of the following month. It was earlier announced that the November report would be delayed until December 16th. It is now being further delayed until sometime in January. There will now be no October report. Each of the monthly reports normally shows an adjustment to the prior two months' reports. No mention of whether these adjustments will be reflected in the jumbo report to be released in January. It should show adjustment for August, September, and October. The months also have seasonal considerations. All of these things will require addressing in the comments explaining how the report was constructed. Good luck with that.

if you're a billionaire, or especially Trump himself. Trump's wealth is increasing at an exponential rate with all of the grifts and "indulgences" he's selling.

See? What's everyone worried about. His target demographic is doing better than ever, and that's a huge WIN in Trump's eyes.

They were technically employed until that date

Yeah, they'll probably commit a public fraud to try to hide the bloodbath October jobs report, but reality is.... well, real.

I don't think they can paper over the horrific numbers. Other data sources can be tapped. Sure, ADP doesn't include the public sector, but reports that fail to account for their illegal firings will be easy to expose. There are other public records like, ya know, the Federal payroll.

the illegal firings to be "legal" in another affront to the rule of law, but nothing can change the reality that every single thing this lawless regime is doing to corrupt the institutions and processes by which our will is measured and dismantle the Federal agencies tasked with executing our will will always be immoral and intolerable crimes against "We the People."

The stores are quiet. The restaurants are quiet. The roads are quiet. Normally this time in December, you can barely get onto the highway, or find a table for dinner. You can hear the echos in store aisles. Our Canadians and Europeans are gone gone gone, and few folks can afford hotel and fancy private home vacation rentals. FAFO is functioning as we predicted.
