Mamdani claps back at Musk over criticism of FDNY chief pick

New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani (D) on Saturday rejected Elon Musk’s argument that his appointment to head up the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) is inexperienced.

“Experience does matter, which is why I appointed the person who spent more than 30 years at EMS. You know, the workforce that addresses at least 70% of all calls coming into FDNY?” Mamdani wrote in a post on the social platform X.

His comment was in response to Musk’s earlier post alleging that people would “die” due to the appointment of Lillian Bonsignore, a veteran Emergency Medical Services leader. “People will die because of this. Proven experience matters when lives are at stake,” the tech billionaire and former White House adviser wrote in a post on X, which he controls.

Musk has railed against Mamdani alongside some Trump administration officials who condemned the mayor-elect’s policy proposals aligned with democratic socialism.

And why does he care what is happening in NYC anyway? He just seems to need to have his nose in everyone's business all the time.

Direct quote from the immigrant tech bro who has no government experience and hostilely ran roughshod over numerous government agencies, fired tens of thousands of people for whose positions he had no understanding, overran government computer systems with AI and tracking software, stole who knows how many government files, and left them in rubble and ruin, the life threatening consequences of which have yet to be calculated.

He has no conscience.

Musk and Trump will be among the people that die. Hopefully, sooner rather than later.

It just creates traffic on his platform, which is really why Trump and him constantly berate the left (to drum up business). Traffic (arguments) creates $$.

It sucks people in with its constant stream of "outrage porn." Apparently, it's very addictive. Virtually all mass and social media has embraced it.

Take, say 90-percent for federal and 9-percent for state and local, and his pile would still be huge.

Greedy NAZI is Greedy. And a coward.
