Prosecutors said Brian J. Cole told the FBI that he planted the explosives on Jan. 5, 2021, because he was frustrated with the workings of the U.S. political system.

The man charged with leaving pipe bombs outside the offices of the Democratic and Republican national committees in Washington has admitted to planting the explosives in 2021 and said he did so because he was frustrated by the workings of the U.S. political system, federal authorities said in a court filing Sunday.

It is so unbelievable that this guy’s supposedly independent and unrelated outrage at “both sides” just happened to be discovered at a time that pulled critical law enforcement resources away from the imminent attack at the Capitol.

It looks like he wasn’t part of the Jan. 6 planning committee, but there’s still plenty of room for his actions to have been manipulated by someone else.

He said it in his own words. I don't think the "federal authorities" mentioned that. Boy, would that look bad.

Potentially embarrassing cases end up with a guy in solitary confinement, never to be heard from again, and we are left without confidence in the official narratives.

I don’t recall that being the case. In the past, if the government wanted to shut someone up, they had to hire a hit man.

Who strangled people. Killed 4 people in a drug-deal gone bad. They say he was moved. The whole thing was under the regime of tRUMP and his fellow fattie Barr. Smells real fishy.

Maybe offered to give his associates/family some $ under the table. Guarantee better jail conditions. Many potential motivating actions to entice that psycho killer.

Anything that is not there to enrich/enshrine trump is bad. He's a Trump supporter, not a supporter of any political party. They are mutually exclusive. He did it in his own twisted means of supporting Trump based on the lies and incitement Trump spewed
