Lauren Boebert says Trump just 'retaliated' against her for her Epstein vote

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) is accusing President Donald Trump of blocking a non-controversial water project affecting her district after the lawmaker challenged Trump to force the release of the Epstein files in November.
Trump decided to veto
a bipartisan bill that passed both the House and Senate unanimously. Why? Because nothing says America First like denying clean drinking water to 50,000 people in Southeast Colorado, many of whom enthusiastically voted for him in all three elections, Boebert said, according to Colorado news reporter Kyle Clark.
I sincerely hope this veto has nothing to do with political retaliation for calling out corruption and demanding accountability. Americans deserve leadership that puts people over politics.
I thought the [Trump] campaign was about lowering costs and cutting red tape, Boebert added.
More specifically, Trump vetoed a bill to fund a pipeline project to bring clean drinking water to communities on the Eastern Plains between Colorados Pueblo and Lamar cities, according to 9 News. The presidents veto of the Finish the Arkansas Valley Conduit (AVC) Act, which passed unanimously in the House and Senate, is Trumps first veto of his second term.

(31,130 posts)the message is that Krasnov doesn't give a shit about unwashed Magats, he will fuck them over to punish one person who represents them.
That's the message.
Thank you Lauren Boebert for doing the right thing once in your life.
I believe that Boebert has learned the story of the leopard, maybe some of her constituents will also learn the story,
It is going to take unwashed Magats to join us to throw out the billionaires who are looting our treasury.

It is funny that two of the most outrageous members of congress, Boebert and Greene, are the ones who have stood up to Trump, when so many more moderate representatives are still reluctant to do the right thing. It's not that hard guys - like with a temperamental toddler, just say "no".

(31,130 posts)4 House Magats have stood up to Krasnov and here we are bashing them, Krasnov must be smiling.
We will never win back our country if we don't get a significant number of unwashed Magats to join us.

(201 posts)In his view, there are two kinds of people. Those to be exploited (suckers), and him. He will not be running again, due to term limits or death, so he has no further use for them. Birdbrain and her constituents will be discarded as he would a lawyer, ex wife, a fisherman on a boat in the Caribbean, or teenager he has had his way with. He uses people until they are all used up. His contempt for others is palpable.
Birdbrain is using him too. Sensing that he is now a political liability, she is turning on him, just enough to try to keep her seat in congress.
