In the city of Rostov-on-Don, a drone strike ignited a fire in a residential building, causing damage to two apartments. Emergency services recovered the body of a man from the debris. Other attacks in the same region resulted in four injuries, including a four-year-old child, and caused a fire at an industrial facility.
In the Belgorod region, a Ukrainian drone targeted a vehicle, causing it to catch fire. One woman was killed in the incident, and a man sustained injuries.
Ukraine continues to launch dozens of drones into Russian territory on a nightly basis as retaliation for Russia’s daily bombardments. Kyiv states that these operations specifically target energy infrastructure that finances Moscow's war efforts. Meanwhile, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported today that a Russian drone strike also caused a fire in a 16-story building in the Ukrainian capital.
