Four men arrested after Rotterdam synagogue arson attack

Source: Reuters

AMSTERDAM, March 13 (Reuters) - Dutch police on Friday said four men were arrested after an arson attack on ‌a synagogue in the centre of Rotterdam, in ‌the latest incident of suspected antisemitic violence since the start of the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.

No one was injured as a result of the fire, which was caused by an explosion around 3:40 a.m. (0240 GMT), Rotterdam police said.

Police said surveillance ‌had immediately been increased at other synagogues across the city.

The four men were held after police stopped a car that was driving suspiciously near another synagogue, with the description of the driver matching one of the perpetrators of the earlier attack.

Had the 4 young men been from the "Church of the Jewish Jesus" and had staged an "arson attack" on a masjid, a lot would be wondering just where they'd picked up Islamophobic ideas. Parents? Maybe religious gatherings?

Now we focus online, like parents aren't and even those who go to religious services just sit in insolation surrounded by others, in isolation, viewing something on their phones. They don't talk or 'network' that doesn't involve at least a G4 network or gorilla glass-intermediary interface. And the d'rash--sermon--preaching!--is ignored. And no small talk happens, as everybody files in in silence and exits in silence. I mean, even at iftars nobody talks about anything but how good the food is. Right?

No, we'd be bombarded by bilious bombast allegedly from the "CJJ". If need be, quote the pastor who read, "But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be subject to the fire of hell. So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift".

Of course, there'd be editing to edited to simplify and clarify what was said. So that would be right-think-ed to "So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar. First go and" "tell " "your brother" "You ... will be subject to the fire of hell," "subject to judgment," "subject to the Sanhedrin". "... then come and offer your gift".

Hey, that's just the words said! Right?

No. Wait. Quotes can lie? (Yup. Like a rug.)
