Accuse the legislation of things it does not do.

People are saying:
It abolishes the secret ballot.
When you vote, everyone will know how you voted and that it was you who voted that way.
This will allow Trump to direct retribution at you specifically and to revoke your citizenship.

THIS IS UNTRUE, NOBODY IS SAYING THIS!

Nevertheless, whisper it nervously and irrationally as though we ourselves would never oppose it on such scurrilous erroneous grounds.

Its polled popularity may very well see it enacted without such rhetorical arson.
