Trump falls asleep again during Memphis task force meeting amid health concerns

Source: aol

President Donald Trump appeared to fall asleep for an extended period while on stage in Memphis on Monday, the latest moment in which the 79-year-old dozed off during a televised meeting or conference, even while people were speaking directly to him.

Trump, the oldest president in United States history, visited the Tennessee city to tout the crime task force his administration created to combat what he claimed was out of control violent crime. But after boasting that there would soon be "like, no crime" in the city of around 650,000 thanks to his efforts, Trump appeared to nod off.

........

..............Since retaking office last January, Trump has exhibited a series of consistent, visible health abnormalities. He has sported a recurring, dark bruise on the back of his right hand, walked on severely swollen ankles and experienced numerous lapses and manic episodes that critics say could be signs of declining mental faculties................

"He's done this several times in the last few weeks. He's fallen asleep in a crowded Oval Office and he's also fallen asleep at Cabinet meetings with people talking directly to him. That's what's called increased daytime somnolence," Dr. Jonathan Reiner told CNN host Jake Tapper during a segment on the president's health.............

Dr. Jonathan Reiner is good. He's the MD who did Cheney's heart transplant.

When Dr. Reiner performed the procedure in March 2025, he said that an otherwise healthy person of Cheney's age could expect to live 10 years with the new heart. Cheney lived over 3 and 1/2 years longer than that, dying in November 2025.

Dick Cheney knew good advice when he heard it. I seriously doubt Chump ever listens to anyone ... except his billionaire overlords.

This shows that what he accuses others of (e.g. “Sleepy Joe” Biden) is merely Cantaloupe Caligula the Corpulent projecting his failings onto others.

Yeah, he's fallen asleep at the wheel. That should be obvious to everyone. My concern for his health is that he could survive for 3 more years.

Closing eyes for 30 seconds while continuing to hold his head upright is not sleeping. It may be drowsiness, but he’s not asleep. He is still clearly unwell.

The other clips from cabinet meetings, etc. clearly show him nodding off, head either drooping down into his chest or falling back against the headrest of his chair.

That requires the neck muscles to be relaxed/slack, and eyes rolled back, as well as respiration and heart rate and brain wave activity.

Clearly, Trump is impaired/sleep deprived/not full conscious during these “episodes”, but whether he is unconscious or asleep in every one of them is debatable.

hard partying lifestyle at Mar-ma-lardo during "wartime" is taking its toll on the old boy.

Time to put him out to pasture, permanently. The thought of Vance as president doesn't thrill me, but at least he'd be awake most of the time. The sofa in the Oval Office would have to be burned before the peaceful transition to our next Democratic president takes place in 2028, though.

That's when I nod off - an hour after lunch when I didn't sleep well the night before.

MFer never sleeps well - tweeting at all hours of the night, getting blue light in his eyes.

If he follows my father's demise the next thing is eating and forgetting to swallow creating a choking situation.

When it's over we'll wonder why he had such sway over so many he's such a LOSER always.
