Nancy Pelosi Claims Republicans May Hack Voting Machines and Create 'Fake Count' in Midterms: 'Be On Guard'

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) shared concerns this week about the upcoming midterms as she told voters to be “on guard” against voting machines being hacked and people creating a “false count” for elections. In a sit-down interview this week with MS NOW’s Ali Vitali, Pelosi predicted big wins for Democrats in the midterms and she also suggested Republicans could find a way to “creep into the technology” and manipulate election results.

Snippets of Pelosi and Vitali’s conversation were played on MS NOW on Monday and Tuesday and the full interview can be watched above. “There are so many things that you can do to protect the election, and they are being done, whether it’s litigation or legislation or just mobilization, communication, all of that. But in addition to that, we have to be on guard as to what they may try to do to the technology. They may try to creep into the technology and create a false count,” Pelosi said.

The former Speaker of the House and other Democrats have pushed back against redistricting in red states and the SAVE Act, which would require voters to provide specific identification documentation to vote. The legislation has passed the House, but faces an uphill battle in the Senate. Pelosi accused Republicans of having “no commitment to the rule of law and doing things the appropriate way.”

“We have three purposes now. One is to win the midterm. Two is to make sure the elections are safe. And three, tell people what we will do when we win. That is the mission,” she said.

Maybe tell us what we can do or tell us what is being done to prevent that from happening and safeguard our votes.

but there is quite a bit of "sloppiness" going on out there in election office land that needs to be really really tightened up.

For example - for those locations that have actual "machines" - where they are stored before and after use and how they are secured, is CRITICAL. E.g., we had this issue here in Philly back in 2020 -

And also here in Philly with mail ballots - the building where they are processed needs to be EXTRA secure and monitored 24/7 (where improvements were made in 2024) -

So I think it's more more of a warning to the state/county/municipal elections officials to TAKE HEED.

That whole case involving the loon Tina Peters and her tampering with machines in Colorado, is a case in point.

One for the democrats, another for the republicans, and a third one for the people already in office.

And I don't know what type of protections.They manage to have for the voting machines. But if you know what the code looks like, you can slip something in if you have the connection possibility.

matches on mail in ballots (pure bullshit), limiting voter locations and time periods, and voter caging.
Also since Hillary Clinton in 2016, Ohio’s ‘22 and ‘24 Senate Races (say hi Peter Thiel), and Harris in
‘24 you can see a nice chunk of “undervotes” where people show up to vote but skip voting for President
or Senator.

Even in states run by Democrats who will be looking for Republican cheating, will they be able to stop remote hacking? Every vote total needs to be compared to the paper ballots filled out by voters in every precinct where a Republican unexpectedly wins. Are there any honest Republicans left in red state governments who will ensure an accurate vote count?

conducted an 'autopsy' of the 2024 election to determine what went wrong. The report was never released. I suspect that they found massive fraud and that Kamala did, in fact, win. Rumor has it that the win was by a large margin. We will probably never know the truth. Just like LBJ knowing of Nixon's treason during the 1968 election campaign, nothing will be done to hold the guilty responsible. The truth will be hidden because it is feared that to do so would lead to riots, blah, blah, blah. Republicans have committed treason in every election campaign since '68 except McCain, who lost. Bush II lost in '92 despite his treason (being part of a criminal scheme and pardoning the criminals who could have taken him and Reagan down). The Republicans couldn't control the results at that time. Now they can ...... and they will. I hope the DNC found enough holes in the process and have filled them to prevent the next Republican attempt at treason. I concerned that they haven't, or worse, won't.

10. One of the things voters can do to make sure their vote is counted accurately...

…is to check the printed ballot that the machine spits out. Check the name of every candidate to make sure it’s the one you voted for. Those printed ballots can be recounted when an election is disputed. If voters don’t bother to check, the machine tally could be manipulated without detection. If you ever find your ballot doesn’t match your vote, the election judge on site needs to know and you should document every detail.

There is absolutely no way to prove those votes were counted as voters intended

Hand counting paper ballots in full public view is the only way to verify that the declared winner is actually the winner
