Tennessee drops Pride Month for 'Nuclear Family Month'

Tennessee has officially declared June to be “Nuclear Family Month” in what has been taken as a war on LGBTQ Pride.

Republican Gov. Bill Lee signed a resolution last week for the new month-long celebration of the traditional family unit, which it defines as “one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children.”

The nuclear family “is God’s perfect design for humanity and is aligned with the long-held traditional values of Tennessee,” states the resolution, which passed through both chambers of the lower Republican-controlled state legislature.

GLAAD, one of the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy groups, blasted the state’s decision not to recognize Pride Month, which is every June....................

I still suffer from PTSD from having grown up in a so called "nuclear family".

Some nights I wake up about 1am and can't go back to sleep because of the trauma of having grown up in a "nuclear family".

I could go on and on about the problems my "nuclear family" have caused me, but that's for another post on another day.

There was a sizable presence with Pride Month in Nashville. Even if he manages to get the rural areas to ham it up, there will be a laughable situation in Nashville when the Pride event does so much more and better than their attempt to steal the thunder from decent people who want to be treated like anyone else.

On a personal note, I am acquainted with several members of your extended family, sir, and they are disgusted by the fact that they are related to you.
