MS NOW Announces Debut Dates, Show Titles For New Lineup

Source: Deadline.com

MS NOW will debut its new weekday lineup on June 15 with a slate of programming that includes a morning show featuring Stephanie Ruhle and a two-hour slot for Alicia Menendez.

Stephanie Ruhle on The 11th Hour

The new titles mark a break from the “Reports” branding of the network’s MSNBC days, with shows titled Katy Tur Reports and Ana Cabrera Reports to emphasize the news-centric aspect of its daytime slate.

Breaking news is still the daytime focus, but Ruhle’s show will be called Money, Power, Politics with Stephanie Ruhle, with Patrick McMenamin as executive producer. The title reflects Ruhle’s role not just as anchor but the network’s senior business analyst. Airing from 9 a.m. ET to 11 a.m. ET, the show replaces the fourth hour of Morning Joe and Cabrera’s show. Cabrera announced plans to depart the network.

I'm a Stephanie Ruhle fan, but I'm not up that early.
I'll have to record it and watch it later in the day.

Alicia Melnndez, Peter Alexander & Katy Tur, leads up to Deadline White House.
Ali Velshi will take over The 11th Hour.

Glad to see him finally added to the evening lineup. Jacob Soboroff will be taking Ali's weekend show time.

He really is the preferred fill in for all the regulars. It almost seems like he's been on more often than the regulars every day.

Congratulations Ali!

Anything that shortens their time on the air is Okey-Doke with me. I might even turn my TV on in the morning if I know that Stephanie Ruhle is on at 9 a.m.. Thank you MSNOW!

Alexander didn’t really leave NBC. He left the today show, weekend news, and was one of the white house reporters. When he left, he made it sound as though he was leaving NBC altogether.
