Country music legend pulls out of Trump's Great American State Fair, claims nonpartisan is 'misleading'

Martina McBride is the latest performer to pull out of Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair, saying she was misled by the type of event it was.

The country music star took to social media to “clear the air.”

“I will not be performing at the Great American State Fair on June 25,” her post on Instagram read. “I was presented with an opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event, but that turned out to be misleading.”

but, increasingly - people must come to understand that word from this administration (be it from the highest level, to the lowest staffer/flunky) - simply does not mean anything, and cannot be trusted.

7. I just saw a poster/graphic on Reddit for this event, with 5 of the 9 pictured/listed acts crossed out

including the subject of the OP. The poster also said "and 25 others" but presumably the biggest names would have been the ones who got a picture and name shown.

Of the four remaining, it was Vanilla Ice, C+C Music Factory, Bret Michaels, and someone else (I already forget).

So they are absolutely bleeding acts, and that is after booking mostly music industry dregs and detritus to begin with.
