Police Tussle With Diabetes Experts at ADA Meeting
Source: MEDPAGE Today
At the American Diabetes Associations 2026 Scientific Sessions in New Orleans, a confrontation unfolded when several prominent diabetes researchers attempted to distribute copies of an editorial critical of recent federal research policy changes. (114,736 posts)This will require a local (NOLA) lawyer who will mos likely work toward a "make it go away" judgment.
Remember, we don't have a sane DOJ, we have a branch of the executive branch whose mission is to act as the enforcement of whatever a despot wants.
This will have to be dealt with locally.....for now.

I have personally avoided political conversation at these types of meetings myself.
As far as the reign of the Orange Pedophile I'm sure most scientists are clear on where we stand. The AAAS mailings have certainly referred to the attack on science.
