And no, by bedbugs we dont mean John Fund or Stephen Moore:
I wanted to let you know that on Friday the facilities department received a report of a bedbug sighting in the video area of the 6th floor, wrote deputy managing editor Deborah Brewster in a note to employees that was passed along to Capital.

(961 posts)(at the time) Czechoslovak government at the end of WW2 by the Allies as part of Germany's reparations. The Allies seized I.G. Farben and liquidated it in 1952, and exploited some of the patents and tech that I.G. Farben had and gave some away as well as part of war reparations. I.G. Farben still exists as a asset-less shell company paying out reparations to survivors of German atrocities.
On edit: also, the factory that produced Zyklon B was located in Kolín, known at that time as Kaliwerk A.G., so the Czechoslovak government took over the factory following the end of WW2 and the expulsion of the ethnic Germans here (the Bene Decrees).
The Czech word, "uragan" means "hurricane" or "cyclone" when translated to English.....exactly the same as "zyklon" in German. So essentially, it's still the same name; just in another language.
