Nevada Nominee Drops From US Judge Consideration (District Judge Elissa Cadish)

Source: Associated Press

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Nevada state judge whose nomination to the federal bench became entangled in a gun rights debate is dropping her name from consideration.

Clark County District Judge Elissa Cadish informed Nevada senators this week that she had asked President Barack Obama to withdraw her nomination for a lifetime appointment to the U.S. District Court seat.

Senate Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid had recommended Cadish for the job and said he's disappointed.

Heller took issue with Cadish's response on a 2008 election season questionnaire about the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Cadish wrote that she did not believe it was a constitutional right.

The Mayors against guns need to continue the great backing heavily any/all candidates who are anti-gun, to defeat any/all who are pro-gun.

Heller needs to be defeated and all Senators need to vote with President Obama, Joe Biden, Gabbie Giffords and do even more

the day is coming, but it needs to be soon.

the NRA blackmail cannot be allowed

This is Dean Heller and Harry Reid. If you are not pro 2A in NV., don't expect too much support on the federal level from Heller or Reid.

NV. has some of the most liberal gun laws in the nation and MAIG money wouldn't be very welcome. Nevadans are very independent minded and don't like people like MAIG trying to influence it's affairs.

Thank God the Great Equalizer has rode into town in 2014 and 2016

candidates will either vote for President Obama and his agenda, or the great Equalizer
will finance the other candidate.

Harry Reid votes with President Obama and will continue to do so.

the Great Equalizer will give cover and watch the back of any candidate who goes against the
NRA and their blackmail.

And then it won't be a political issue anymore.
Once the NRA is dead and buried.

Nevadans are very independent minded and don't take kindly to outside influence, MAIG (Great Equalizer ) trying to tell them who to vote for.

NV. is a very pro 2A state with some of the nation's most liberal gun laws and there's no reason to think it will change anytime soon.

as is Senator Reid.
This is not surprising, and I think she did the right thing by withdrawing her nomination to move the process along.
