Doctor Who Treated Deceased French Survivor Contestant Commits Suicide

Source: Seattle PI

Thierry Costa, the staff doctor for the French Survivor spin-off Koh-Lanta, committed suicide Monday, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Costa's death comes 10 days after contestant Gerald Babin died of a heart attack on the first day of filming the latest season.

"We have learned with dismay that Dr. Thierry Costa passed away in Cambodia today," a statement from Adventure Line Productions read. "His high level of professionalism and humanity towards participants and production teams has always been unanimously recognized."

Suicide is always sad, just wondering if I'm suppose to know who this is since its late breaking news.

But I have a bias against these shows so maybe that skews my perception.

Being a sci-fi fan can sometimes fuck your reading comprehension. I had to read the headline about four times before it made sense to me, which sucks, because the actual story is very sad. I feel bad for getting a laugh from it.

And I don't watch reality t.v. but I think I could watch this episode. Dude's obsession is odd but he seems relatively normal in other aspects of his life.
