Israeli police head to US to aid in Boston Marathon bombing investigation

Source: Russia Today

The investigation into Monday’s deadly bombing at the Boston Marathon has officially gone international: law enforcement officials from Israel have been sent to the United States to assist in the probe.

Israel Police Chief Yohanan Danino says he has dispatched officials to Boston, Massachusetts, where they will meet with Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and other authorities, the Times of Israel Reports.

Citing an earlier report published by the newspaper Maariv, Times of Israel writes that Danino has dispatched police officers to participate in discussions that “will center on the Boston Marathon bombings and deepening professional cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of both countries.”

The paper reports that Israeli law enforcement planned the trip before the deadly pair of bombings on Monday that has so far claimed three lives, but the discussions will now shift focus in order to see how help from abroad can expand the investigation.

So the FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, NSA, U.S. military, U.S. Marshals, local and state police can't handle it, they need someone from Israel?

Seems like a prime opportunity for someone to obstruct an investigation and to try to place the blame/evidence on some Middle Eastern country.

We live in an era of corruption and militarism, this isn't a stretch of anyone's imagination.

It doesn't start off from being hateful and the desire for finding The Truth© is genuine, but the roads eventually converge in a bad place.

First responses on the first youtube videos of this event went straight to 'THE JEWS DID IT' acting in league with, as always, Obama.

'That train is NEVER late', as Chris Rock said about 9/11. It will never be admitted, anymore than the followers of Ron Paul would.

Because certainly, if there was a cover up and plan to blame a Middle Eastern country, the Government would be forthcoming with the knowledge that someone from Israel is coming to aid in the investigation. Let me guess - in your eyes, this Israeli operative is coming to the US, packed with a bag full of planted evidence. And if you never read this article, would you be having these same thoughts? Check that - don't answer that question...I think I already know.

Seriously, this is stupid.

It's insane to believe that the Israelis had anything to do with the bombings. It's entirely believable to think that the apartheid Israeli government would use their police "experts" to steer the investigation to a direction that is politically beneficial toward them (e.g., implicating Iran). The Israeli government has demonstrated repeatedly that they have no qualms about working against American interests when doing so is to Israel's benefit. Their mere presence makes suspect any findings that eventually implicate any enemies of Israel, even if those findings are factual.

The United States is home to some of the most highly trained investigators on the planet, backed by the worlds most high tech crime labs. There's no need to feed the conspiracy theorists by giving foreign investigators access to the evidence.

And I doubt that feeding conspiracy theorists really plays any role in determining what actions investigators take.

So using your logic, these highly trained investigators would fall for the devishly masterful plot by the evil Israeli experts to steer the investigation to a politically beneficial conclusion to Israel?

And no, their mere presence does not make any findings suspect. That's a personal issue for you.

It doesn't take much to steer an investigation once you're on the inside. Simply a comment like "We once saw something like this on a Hezbollah bomb" could change the focus of an entire investigation. Couple that with a conveniently anonymous claim of responsibility on the Internet, and you'll have justification for Gulf War 3.0. American's have already proven their gullibility when it comes to that kind of disinformation.

And yes, I do believe that it would make the findings suspect to a lot of the world, if Israeli investigators found evidence implicating an enemy of Israel at an American bombing. It would be a bit convenient.

But then again, I'll freely and unapologetically admit that I have "personal issues" with security agents of a conservative, foreign apartheid government being involved in an American investigation. Any liberal with a conscience should have issues with it.

I make no apologies for the fact that I don't like the Israeli government and their policies, and consider them an untrustworthy ally. The Jonathan Pollard case alone demonstrates the fact that the Israeli government considers American security interests to be secondary to their own, and that they have no problem violating our laws and trust in order to further their own goals.

The simple fact is that the current Israeli government has been beating the war drums for many months against Iran and has recently begun seizing more land for settlement in the West Bank. Their biases are well known, and are publicized for the world to see. If Israeli security agents find anything in Boston that implicates Israeli enemies, and brings America closer to war with those enemies, then the evidence is immediately suspect. We'd have to ask ourselves whether the discovery is genuine, or whether it's another "babies being tossed out of incubators" moment. There's a trust issue here, and it's one that we really don't need to deal with (we have plenty of investigators who are more than capable of getting to the bottom of this). We should thank them for the offer and politely decline.

And who is Alex Jones?

You obviously think the Israeli's cannot be trusted...

I have no problem with the Israeli's. I have a problem with the Israeli government and it's policies. There's an important and profound difference between having an issue with an entire nation of people, and having a problem with the government and the people running it.
