Neighbors say three have been arrested in New Bedford in connection with the Boston Bombing suspect.
Police apprehended suspects from the Hidden Brook Apartments on Carriage Drive in New Bedford. Neighbors say they think that the girlfriend of 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev may have lived in the complex and they have seen him in the area as recently as yesterday.
Dzhokhar is a student at the nearby University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Earlier on Friday his brother, also a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, was killed in a gun fight with police.

That's the whole article above. Pictures at link.
On Edit: They were quickly released. So they probably didn't have much to do with the bombings

I suspect they're likely just arresting to see what they can get out of them.

(57,936 posts)was a third person, possibly a woman with a yellow jacket and blue jeans. She walked behind Dzokhar slightly to the inside toward the buildings, to Dzokhar's right. She was wearing kind of neutral colored shoes and what struck me was that she was keeping pace with Dzokhar and his brother and walking approximately as far behind Dzokhar as Dzokhar walked behind his brother. She kept approximately that same difference. I think she can also be seen in the picture in which Dzokhar is seen turning a corner.
She may be in the pictures by coincidence. She may know nothing about Dzokhar. But maybe she was part of the attack.
Did anyone else notice her? Maybe that is who they are questioning.

(57,936 posts)That is in the first picture, she had a backpack.

(10,575 posts)In an other angle it was not.
A lot of people had backpacks, including those craft services merc type guys.

(6,948 posts)She also was carrying a grey backpack, and that is what drew my attention to her. I remember thinking how it looked like it was heavy, just like the other two packs. You could tell it was heavy by how stuffed the pack was, and also by the way she had her hands on the straps, like she was trying to offset some of the weight. She had long brown hair, possibly in braids, or one braid off to the side. Interesting.

(57,936 posts)The other one had a briefcase or attache case. Then someone pointed out guy standing in a doorway. I don't know why he was there. Maybe to avoid bad weather?

(769 posts)I just read on Huffington that the suspect is being questioned by the special group made up of CIA and will not be read his rights.

(11,513 posts)It's my understanding that the suspect is being questioned in regards to other possible bomb locations, accomplices, and other information which could prevent further loss of life. Any information they gather from this won't be admissible to use in a trial. After the FBI or whomever finishes gathering this information he'll be read his rights, and anything he divulges from that point on will be useable in his trial.

(43,035 posts)I hope they are able to obtain all the information they can from the perp.
Seems a unique opportunity to probe the psychological profile or personality
or personality disorders of terrorists.
No normal 19 year old would be out making bombs when he could he home
loving his girlfriend, building a career, hoping to land a good job and buy
a fast car.
These two don't sound well integrated into American society, for whatever
reason.

(14,164 posts)So they re-arrested the two young men, but what about the girl? Maybe that's not the one in the video, the one with these new guys, but if not, why do we hear nothing about a man-hunt for her as well? Do they think that it is just a coincidence that a young woman is following the two perps and carrying the same type of black backpack that looks heavy? There is nothing about her on the news at all.

I read that two women were picked up by a consulate van at the same apartment but that part of the story is so far unverifiable...

(8,028 posts)Earlier Saturday afternoon, a silver mini-van
with consulate license plates arrived at the
Carriage Drive apartment along with the FBI
and Homeland Security, and stayed a half
an hour longer than the agents.
The van left with two women, neither of
whom appeared to be restrained. One was
carrying a pink backpack as she exited the
apartment and ran into the van, which sped
away as the women told reporters they did
not wish to comment.
Efforts by The Standard-Times to identify
the van's consulate did not provide any
answers, and the FBI spokeswoman had no
information about it. A U.S. Department of
State spokeswoman said her agency was
not privy to the investigation and referred
The Standard-Times back to the FBI.
