A former Mitt Romney campaign intern is in hot water.

The New York Daily News reports that 21-year-old Adam Savader was arrested in Great Neck, N.Y. on Tuesday by the FBI. He was charged with cyberstalking and blackmailing women online, according to authorities.

News 12 Long Island adds that court documents show Savader allegedly used both the Internet and text messages. He claimed he had naked pictures of the women and vowed to send them to friends and family if more were not provided.

According to AnnArbor.com, FBI agents provided a count of 15 females that were allegedly victimized. The affidavit was filed on April 17, and a college student in the Michigan area reported the alleged misconduct to Ann Arbor police back in September 2012. The Daily News notes that the woman there is from Great Neck, N.Y.

At just 21, Adam Savader has already served as Paul Ryan's "sole intern on @MittRomney's campaign and a @newtgingrichcampaign staffer," as he put it on Twitter. Now that impressive resume is marred with and arrest by the FBI on charges of cyber-stalking and blackmailing. The Long Island college student allegedly obtained nude photos from 15 women's hacked online accounts, then threatened to make them public unless they sent him more naked pictures. Most of the threats mentioned friends and family members, but one message threatened to report the young woman's sexting to her parents, her sorority, and the Republican National Committee.

A former intern for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was arrested Tuesday over an alleged sexual extortion scheme.

In a press release, the FBI said 21-year-old Adam Savader allegedly stalked 15 different women from three states between May 2012 and this past February.

The New York Daily News reported that Savader was a political science major at SUNY Farmingdale. He had worked on the political campaigns of Newt Gingrich, Paul Ryan, and Romney.

One of his victims contacted the Ann Arbor Police Department, who referred the case to the FBI. Savader used Google Voice to keep his identity a secret, but the FBI was able to track him down via his IP address.

Probably saw the movie but was involved in anti-war actions at that time and going places. Not much in cinema impressed me until I settled down for a while.

Haven't watched television or gone to movie theaters much. Just about everything I've ever seen on TV was a re-run, didn't record or TIVO.

Hearings, yes, I watched them, alright. I watched the hearings when Nixon nearly got tossed, the Watergate tapes, etc. There was no CSPAN but networks had to show major things like that to keep their license.

Too bad it's not that way now. The American people are very uninformed but know they've missed out and are falling for CT which says that democracy is a failure, so let's go tribal or else into theocratic fiefdoms.
