Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s body is in Worcester funeral home where services are being planned

Source: Boston.com

The owner of the Worcester funeral home where the body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev is now being held said he was not making a statement about the alleged crimes of Tsarnaev and his younger brother, Dzhokhar.

“I’m not honoring a terrorist. I’m just burying a body,” Peter Stefan, owner of Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, told the Telegram & Gazette today.

Stefan was quoted by the newspaper as saying that he believes that everyone should be treated with dignity after their death. He said he is prepared to face protests.

“Don’t do it? OK, what do you suggest I do? What would you do?” Stefan told the Telegram.

The body was brought to North Attleboro funeral home temporarily and was transported to the Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors in Worcester. The Worcester parlor owner braces for protests and is searching for a cemetery that will accept Tamerlan Tsarnaev's body.

Hopefully the community will see his stepping forward as good gesture on his part.

who he was, what he did is in the past because he is dead. The body is but a shell. The funeral is for the family to process the changes in their lives and to reflect upon the life impact of the deceased. That is what it is about. I have no problem with it....

A round of shots and beers to wake him.
He does not deserve a place of rest or honor. Those are rights reserved for bodies formerly inhabited by souls not demons.

Honor the victims and heroes. Pity his family. Screw his body.

He is performing the duties of his profession, just as the doctors at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston attended to this brother.

Wealthy Uncle Ruslan the international energy attorney is paying for this. The funeral provider could of course donate the proceeds to the funds for the victims if this is supposed to be some great ethical action to gather up thousands for prepping the body.
Charity is when no profit is made. This is just business.

He has experience preparing bodies for Muslim burial. He is known for providing low cost burials for the needy.

It's not just business. Your remarks are intemperate and inaccurate.

It's a remarkable profession, one with no secrets and all secrets. People revile them, are afraid of them, are grateful to them, are suspicious of them. They are seen as having magical powers, as being perverse, as being untouchable.

In truth, they perform a service. Something has to be done and most of us are legally and emotionally unable to do it. No matter who you are, or what you did, or what you believe, someone has to take care of the vessel you walk around in when you leave it.

I wish him luck.

He was also was extremely hated at the time too and still is by most! The cemetery is Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. You can view it here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=781

Cremation would be better in this case for sure! I feel for the good people of Boston.

Burial at sea is the best option; it's not optimal, but it is permissible under Islamic religious practices.

KA BOOM SPLAT

But seriously. This is a problem. If the public knows where he's buried the grave will be desecrated and the cemetery damaged. No cemetery in their right mind would accept the burial unless he buried in an unmarked grave like the indigent part of a cemetery where many of those graves are unmarked or if he's buried in a prison cemetery. Best thing to do is cremate him and ship him back to momma or drop ship him in the ocean like they did with OBL.
