B. Clinton: Hillary speculation is waste of time

Source: USA Today

1:29 p.m. EDT May 7, 2013

Former President Bill Clinton says he's frustrated that -- so soon after the 2012 election -- people are already discussing whether wife Hillary will run for president in 2016.

"I don't know what's going to happen, but I know this: that is the worst expenditure of our time," Clinton said during the Peter G. Peterson Foundation's 2013 Fiscal Summit in Washington.

The former president said of the former first lady, senator, and secretary of state:

"She's taking a role in the foundation, she's writing books, she's having a little fun being a private citizen for the first time in 20 years. We need to be worried about the work at hand. All of us do. So whoever the next president is has an easier set of choices."

have gotten the message that he was really concerned that focusing on Hillary or any Politician for 2016 was taking emphasis off what the country needs to address. He said we have "attention deficit about politics" here in America. If you get a chance to see a video try to watch it. Bloomberg Financial probably has it up on their Website by now.

He wasn't playing a sly fox... he was serious.

.... Pete Peterson's Foundation's 2013 Fiscal Summit. Hello? Did anyone catch that? That would be one Peter G(eorge) "Pete" Peterson, who financed the "Fix the Debt" Campaign with his $458 Million in 2011. He's the one leading the Fix the Debt Campaign against Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and other programs that aid the poor in our society. And there sat the Big Dawg next to him, chit-chatting about Hillary. Well, isn't that speccchhhial?
Can you say "DLC", boys and girls? DLC, that's right, i.e. Third Way. The right wing of the left wing, if you will. The right wing of the Democratic Party. Excuse me...

was on live "Bloomberg Finance" this a.m. And, I heard Bill say that about speculation about Hillary running.

I watched both Bills and while they said a few things I could agree with most of the dialogue was on how their view of the world (Jobs, NAFTA, Education, Immigration (allowing workers in because they claim there aren't enough "qualified American workers&quot was kind of depressing to me. That Bill Clinton still praises NAFTA and claims that Mexicans aren't coming over the border is because NAFTA allowed economic situation in Mexico to grow and thrive ...was enough to make me gag. The "over the border" was due to the Housing Boom (Construction, Landscaping) and when that Bubble crashed they were sent back to Mexico. Bill C. said that "inspite of the border gun wars that NAFTA had allowed Mexico to open 100's of Colleges/Universities and so the education opportunities of the Mexicans had kept them there rather than having them come here.

Anyway...some things they both said I agreed with but the rest was really depressing (for me as a Dem) to listen to. Their view of all the good things they feel they've done seems so different from what the reality that many of us are seeing here in America today.

Elizabeth Warren for President and Jennifer Granholm for her Vice President. However, I think Jennifer and Deval Patrick gave the best short fired-up speeches at the convention last Sept.

OH MY GOD!

I told her how much I liked her on Current and she said "thank you", I wasn't looking to ask her about future gigs or why she left.

She's doing quite a bit in promoting a green jobs "Race to the Top" and I appreciate that!

He had already said that Hillary would not make any decision until after the midterm elections next year. People (mainly the media) need to back off and let the woman have some down time.

one doesn't need to speculate, because its a Done Deal.

Andrew Cuomo already is backing away from the race
and Joe Biden will symbolically run and between them, that's 80% of the vote

the only ones who don't want here are the 20% in America.
The question is-
Will Joe Biden be VP for a 3rd term?
Will it be Kathleen Sebelius or Janet Napolitano, if its Kathleen, could we hope that Kansas could turn blue? If Kansas turned blue, one could dream of a 538 to 0 sweep by Hillary.

One things for certain, the neverwillbees should save peoples money. They ain't gonna come close

If this were 2016, the SC race would have been a landslide for Colbert=Busch.

The other candidates need coattails in the off year elections.

Bill looks good, just wish he got Led Zep back and made my wife happy.

Working for an 80-20 America. Because I love Hillary and Bill and all they did, and I love Barack Obama more, and wish for his agenda forever.

The most important thing of course is the courts. With 8 years of Hillary it will be 7 to 2.

And I don't want ANYONE who is happily in bed with the Peter G. Peterson Foundation and is enthusiastically implementing those policies.
Do you seriously think those policies are good for the United States? Really?
