Georgia and Alabama will have gay governors and marijuana-smoking nightclubs next to grade schools, and Idaho will still allow employers to fire people solely because of their sexual orientation.

Now that's just sad. The federal prohibition was lifted by Carter in 1978.

But I'm shocked Oregon still has not. We are pretty progressive. To have 12 other states make it legal before us is a real knock against how liberal of a state we are. I hear something is in the works for the general election in 2014. I'm sure by then at least 5 other states will have made it legal by then.

Hahaha! Does that mean "always wear underpants"? My behavioral psych prof in college had a t-shirt with that on it. I haven't thought about it since.

but he wants to be on the "right side of eternity."

On one FB thread it was mentioned that his comments were so awful they were trending internationally.

Thank God for redistricting for I am no longer "represented" by this clod but by a DFLer. I guess I could tell Hall that my prayers were answered.
