Pelosi: If Boehner Were A Woman, They’d Call Him ‘Weakest Speaker In History’

Source: Talking Points Memo

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) has drawn no shortage of critics – even within his own party — but his predecessor thinks he's getting off easy.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Monday told MSNBC's Chris Hayes that Boehner would be slapped with a humbling label if he were a woman.

"Well, I will say this about John Boehner, and I have a good relationship," Pelosi said. "If he were a woman, they'd be calling him the weakest speaker in history."

...............

“You know what, if a woman were speaker and nothing was happening in this way, they’d say, ‘Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh,’” Pelosi said. “I’m just getting a little, shall we say, tired of some of the ways they take a pass on some and not on others. We get criticized for accomplishing things. They don’t get criticized for not accomplishing things

was the most productive Congress in history. When Boehner became Speaker, he hasn't done anything.

That, my friends, is what you call S-E-X-I-S-M!! If Pelosi had done nothing as Boehner has not, how much more would the corporate media hate Nancy Pelosi? As if they don't hate her enough; it would be much worse than it is now.

However, Boehner continues to be treated with kid gloves in the media. He continues to hold onto power. And he is deliberately destroying the country. He and his Teabagger companions.

... that Boehner being the, "worst", speaker ever was all part of the plan to make sure nothing but teabagger junk is on the agenda, that and Issa's continued harrassment/disingenuous services to the PTB to make sure things stay stuffed up and no progress is made.

He'd also be referred to as "overly-emotional" and "hysterical" due to his crying, but as we rarely refer to males in positions of authority as such...

Clinton's breath caught in her throat ONCE during her 2008 presidential campaign, and it was all over the media for weeks. Boehner cries like a baby when he misses the ice cream truck, and no one in the media makes a peep about it.

BULLSHIT!
