Police: Kenya arrested 1 of London attackers

Source: AP-Excite

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) - An anti-terrorism police official in Kenya says one of the suspects who killed a British soldier on a London street in a savage attack was arrested in November 2010 near the East African country's border with Somalia.

Anti-terrorism unit head Boniface Mwaniki said Sunday that Michael Adebolajo was believed to have been preparing to train and fight with the al-Qaida-linked Somali militant group al-Shabab. He said Adebolajo was arrested with five others, and later deported.

Adebolajo was identified by hard-line Muslim leaders as one of two suspects in the killing of British soldier Lee Rigby this week.

Using a meat cleaver, he managed to surprise and kill an unarmed off-duty musician a couple thousand miles behind enemy lines.

Truly, one of the finest jihadi warriors that walks the Earth.

I guess he did the best he could, though, lacking a steed, to ready his strength and strike terror into the enemies of Allah. Not that any Real Muslim (tm) would ever think that his holy book contains such an admonition, that Allah would ever want such a thing, that Muhammed would engage in such activities, or that any Real Muslim (tm) would even consider such an action.

Why, it's as insane as stumbling across radical Xian groups that hold all things in common or love their enemies as themselves or feeding the poor. None of those for over 1000 years.

does not have the same level of screening of immigrants that the US does. Why would they let someone that had an actual criminal record for terrorism into their country? I'm not talking about depriving him of rights. Just don't let the dude into your country.
That is a mistake that needs to be looked as, as it has cost a person his life.

Woolwich murder: armed police arrest man on north London street

One witness, who did not wish to be named, said: "The guy was on a push bike when the police came out of nowhere and wrestled him to the ground." Two other plain clothes officers – identifiable only because one was wearing a Metropolitan police cap – were nearby. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "A 22-year-old man was arrested by officers from the MPS Counter-Terrorism Command investigating the murder of Lee Rigby. He has been taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody."
