Paul LePage May Not Seek Second Term As Maine Governor

Source: Huffington Post

Maine Gov. Paul LePage (R) announced on Wednesday that he may not seek a second term in office.

According to the Maine Sun Journal, LePage was "clearly frustrated" over the legislature's override of his budget bill veto, and told reporters in Augusta that he was uncertain about his political future.

"I am going to be meeting with my family at some point and we are going to be talking it over," LePage said. "Quite frankly, I don't know how you recover from this. I really don't know how you recover from a tax increase. This is a giant obstacle. It's like having a giant hole in the bottom of your ship and you are trying to get across the pond."

"I don't have any more priorities," he added. "We put it all in the budget and got defeated."

that split the vote. He has very little support here. Even if that scenario happens again, I don't think given the trail of manure he's left across the state he could win again.

Gov. pRick Scott of Florida, who's own party may consider running someone against him. Scott is toast but his ego and money will take his party down in flames.

He doesn't like the will of the people as expressed through their
elected representatives?

Sort of like George W. Bush called himself a leader, and a leader
leads, that what a leader does.

Too bad when no one wants to follow anymore.

Straight back to Canada where you crawled on your yellow belly during the Vietnam war to avoid the draft. Don't forget to at least say hello to your other family you deserted up there in Canada. Or are you going to Jamaica where your adopted but not adopted son hails from. There is so much about you Mr. LiarPage that we still don't know and to be honest we really don't want to to know. Too bad you just won't quit like Sarah Failin did, that would be best for the State of Maine. Buy buy buffalo count man, may Maine see the error of it's ways and never again elect the likes of you, Mr LiarPage.
