In 2007 the interest on a BOA credit card my husband and I had
jumped outrageously due to the fact, as a snotty rep to me, we
had had the audacity to buy a home in 2006. This, even though
another 'thief', Wells Fargo, had found us credity worthy of the
mortgage. We had never missed or been late with a payment, so
they "downgraded" US and then slapped on a higher, much
higher, interest rate.
