Man (teen) accused of raping, beating 93-year-old charged with first-degree murder

A teenager who is accused of raping and beating a 93-year-old woman in her bed has been charged with first-degree murder.

According to the prosecution, Sergio Martinez-Perez entered Louise Sollowin’s home at 1921 S. 10th St. Sunday through an unlocked door. He allegedly pummeled and sexually assaulted her before falling asleep on top of her at about 9 a.m. Four days later, Sollowin died.

Martinez-Perez admitted to police that he did it “because he was angry at women after a night of drinking.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had asked the jail to hold him, an official there said. That is often an indication that the federal agency is questioning an inmate’s immigration status.

He decides to rape any woman because he couldn't find anyone else to have sex with him. He had gone drinking and a woman he was trying to pick up rejected him. He left angry and intent of finding someone else. He found a door open to this poor woman's house and brutally beat and raped her. he didn't give a crap that she could have been his great-grandmother.

I hope that he never sees the outside, sick SOB!!!!!!!!!!



I have a neighbor who is 95 years old. She's sharp, funny and volunteers every day at our church's lunch program for the homeless. The thought that some sick creep could do the same to her fills me with anger and sadness.

May Mrs. Sollowin rest in peace.
