(Reuters) - A drone strike killed four people in Pakistan's lawless North Waziristan region on Friday, possibly including a senior Pakistani Taliban commander, intelligence sources said.

Four missiles were fired at a compound in Danda Darpa Khel, a village about 5 km (3 miles) from the regional capital of Miran Shah.

North Waziristan is the stronghold of the Taliban insurgency and shares a border with Afghanistan.

Two intelligence officials said the dead were militants. Another regional security source said militants had blocked all access points to the area, making it difficult to verify information on the ground.

Creating more terrorists for future target practice on irrelevant brown skinned furriners in far-far-awayistan. Yay!

Your disregard for even the most basic forms of human decency is nothing short of amazing.
To win this war me must ALL become terrorists and beat them at their own game!

So we at least know they were teenage boys.

Why, oh why, should anyone take anonymous "intelligence officials" at their word, when they have been caught lying so many times?

U.S. drone kills Pakistani Taliban leader: sources

ISLAMABAD | Fri Nov 1, 2013 12:29pm EDT

(Reuters) - A U.S. drone strike in Pakistan killed the head of the Pakistani Taliban on Friday, security sources told Reuters, the latest in a series of blows to Pakistan's most feared militant group.

Hakimullah Mehsud has been reported dead several times before. But late on Friday, several intelligence, army and militant sources across the country confirmed he had been killed in the strike in the lawless North Waziristan region.

"We can confirm Hakimullah Mehsud was killed in the drone strike," said one senior security official.
