Discovered Human Remains ID’d as Missing McStay Parents: Officials

Two of the human remains discovered earlier this week in Victorville have been identified as Joseph and Summer McStay, who along with their two young sons have been missing since 2010, authorities said.

2. This one is a real mystery.

No forced entry to the home. They had plenty of cash in their bank accounts that was never touched. The vehicle was found a few days after they disappeared. Doesn't appear to be any monetary motive.

The graves would have been very difficult to dig in the hard rocky type ground where they were found but someone spent the time. And that someone also killed the 3 and 4 year old children.

Very strange case. Bones themselves don't leave a lot of clues so I hope the clothes or other evidence can give them something to go on.

3. If they were shot, knifed or killed by blunt force trauma,

the bones could reveal that. If it was by poisoning, not so much.

This is a weird case for sure.
Check the nearest and dearest again. Unfortunately, a lot of crimes are committed by people you know.

I hope they can find out why and who would kill this family. Two sweet, innocent babies. Why?

9. I watched this too...very sad...

especially for there little boys. I have two theories. 1) They went to Mexico to be used as drug mules and came back with the drugs and were killed by the pick up person. Possibly she had a family member being held captive in Mexico or her family was being threatened. 2) He was involved in house building and selling so it's possible a laborer of some sort kidnapped them thinking he could get their money but they refused or something went wrong. I hope the police find the monsters that did it. They looked like a cool family. I feel for the brother.
