Reagan sponsored a massive genocide in Guatemala while running drugs in Central America. He and his cronies should have died in prison.

Probably even is.

However so used to seeing stuff like this on RW web sites about democrats I like the threads better about actual policy differences.

American troops are still training Guatemalan troops in Guatemala. The indigenous people are still being displaced and murdered. I find the discussion of deadly covert policies more pertinent than gun control and unemployment. The Mayan people deserve your time and consideration.

And the rampant corruption in the US. When those on high get away with crimes the message to everyone is cheating and corruption is not only ok, but the way to get ahead

The Gerald Ford doctrine is still in force today, and the crimes escalate.

Nixon sabotaged Vietnam peace talks (1) and was re-elected; he spied on his political opponents and lied about it was allowed to resign. Ford decided not to prosecute.

Reagan conspired with the Iranians to delay the release of American hostages, and rewarded them with crucial military components. He initiated illegal wars in Grenada and Panama, and supported death squads in Central America. Clinton decided not to prosecute.

Bush stole two elections, intimidated the press, profited immensely from his own failure to defend the country before 9/11, engaged in two illegal wars, kidnapped people off the street and tossed them in the dungeon, and made torture one of the powers of the Imperial President. Obama decided not to prosecute.

Does anyone else see a pattern there?

the arms-for-drugs operation in the backroom. It was kept very quiet and few even knew it was going on. I for one did not think we would ever find the answers. This article is very important but I suspect that the media will ignore this to. I do not doubt this truth at all.

My daughter lives and works with the Mayan people in Guatemala so I am sensitive to any form of progress in their interests.
