The fat, sick, woman hater makes a statement as his fortunes from advertisers are threatened.
Nope, not buying it. Let's keep up the campaign against ALL his advertisers, for a few weeks.
Let's let this creep feel some real pain. Of course, the only pain he will feel is in his bank account balance.
Let's make that bank account balance vanish with thousands of law suits in the next few months.
Hosts of this forum, feel free to delete this P R move from Rush, I don't think it should be at DU for any other reason than it is breaking news.

He'll find a way to weasel out of this, as he weaseled out of his hypocritical use of drugs after spending years demanding that ALL drug users be sent 'up the river' as they were destroying this country. Anyone who continued to view him as any kind of hero after that, is lost, as, like any cult member, they are far too deeply into the indoctrination to be able to make any rational decisions.

And how all the other "choice of words" throughout the decades? One might think after offending and even damaging people so long, you would learn better word-choices from them, if that were your problem, which it isn't.
He's scared, and he should be. His career is about to end, and twenty years too late. I wish I were humane enough to not relish what's going to happen to him over the next six months.

(1,034 posts)He essentially used his "I'm a funny guy " defense. He didn't mention his drug use.
Ms. Fluke was exercising her 1st amendment rights and testifying before congress about Women's Health Issues, not about sex or being sexually active.
He went way beyond good taste and will not truly apologize. He never does.
Keep up the pressure. The local stations and the local advertisers are the next direction to aim.
He deserves to receive all the vitriol that everyone can muster.
This is evidently not being covered by the MSM much and that is a shame, it should be.
His ass is gonna get sued Me thinks. Because she is not a public person and she was exersizing her rights and he slandered her to excess.

Furthermore, taken in the context of everything he said, he certainly did mean his words as a personal attack.
And, from the second paragraph, it is still obvious that Limbaugh is an idiot -- he does not even understand what he is talking about. Fluke's testimony was not about taxpayers paying for birth control!
How totally dense can this character be?
Answer: he is the only known substance on this earth that dense.

Last year, Rush signed a contract netting him $38 million a year with a $100 million signing bonus.
That's his motivation, nothing decent or sincere about it.
Left Leaning Liberal Lady is seeking volunteers to listen to your local area Rush broadcasts and note his local sponsors.
It's a dirty job, but someone needs to do it.

I'd like to correct something from HuffPo, it wasn't just Democratic women and those of us on the left, I read many a plea to his advertisers from republican women. He attacked us all and we have all stood up to say "no more!"

We pay for insurance. Health care in America is anything but free.
