Bullock expected to name Walsh to Senate at news conference

Source: The Missoulian

Walsh, a Democrat like Bullock and Baucus, already has been campaigning since last fall for a full six-year Senate term this year. He is the leading fundraiser among the three Democrats running for the Senate.

Bullockís office notified reporters Thursday of a news conference scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in the Governorís Reception Room in the Capitol. It said that reporters unable to attend in person can call in on a listen-only line.

Perhaps MT will be able to hold this seat for the Dems after all. Fingers crossed.

1. Good morning!

I was confused. I googgled bullock and got a castrated calf,
then I got Sandra Bullock (whom I admire). Were games being
played on me. I finally narrowed it down to Gov. Steve Bullock
and the cobwebs disappeared .... DUH!

I have a tough time with all these names.

2. Hopefully not a Dem like Baucus. A democratic Dem would be better. nt

4. It would be nice indeed.

But a Dem who can win in MT will likely not tick every progressive box.

I am a pragmatic realist.
