JP Morgan Executive Becomes 5th Banker To Die In Last 2 Weeks

(Before It’s News)

Two weeks after the suicide of a JP Morgan banker who jumped to his death from the top of a building, another of the firm’s employees has died, with 37-year-old Ryan Henry Crane becoming the 5th banker fatality in just the last few weeks alone.

Crane was an Executive Director in JPM’s Global Program Trading desk based in New York and had been with the firm for 14 years.

Few details have been released concerning the nature of his death, with reports merely stating that Crane is survived by his wife and son.

“We can only hope this disturbing chain of deaths within the financial industry – one of which involved a nail-gun induced suicide – is purely accidental,” writes Zero Hedge.

Now things are getting weird. The nail gun death was highly suspicious and now they just keep dying. I’m not complaining but something is afoot! Either these guys are killing themselves for 5 different reasons or they are all lined somehow and are either forced to kill themselves or are murdered. If there is a 6th then I have no doubts."

There have been other non-banker deaths that are suspicious as well.

There is something that is yet to become public I'm sensing.

But that's enough of a pattern for people to fill in the gaps and say not only were all 5 suicides or homicides for a single cause, but other deaths were as well.

Then again, we find faces in the landscape and in rocks and in how the ocean happened to deposit the seaweed during the last high tide. We're good at finding patterns. Thing is, lots of patterns are very short and completely random.

If the pattern says, "Those branches and leaves look like a large carnivore," it's foolishness not to take action. If you're wrong and take action, you look a bit stupid. If you're right and take action you look wise. If you're wrong and do nothing, you're okay, this time; but if you're right and do nothing you're dead. Taking action is two of the three ways you survive, and the other way is luck. But missing the pattern just once gets you dead. If the same situation happens enough times, only those who see patterns get to have kids.

Of course, with fewer large carnivores around all that insistence on spotting patterns that aren't really there leads to massive entertainment for some and outrageous tin-foil bills for others.

Stay tuned to see if this is a real pattern or not. Inquiring minds want to know.

Not that they are necessarily wrong but I think we are nowhere near the real story on this yet.

First, let me welcome you to DU and please forgive me if I was a bit too stern.

I'm surprised that one of the administrators for this forum didn't locked the thread so nobody else can post. Let's hope that they had plans and nothing serious has happened to any of them. I searched through the Latest Breaking News forum and didn't see where this story was previously posted on DU, so the admins may have decided to provide some leeway.

As far as I know, the count is up to five bankers that died recently although there was some confusion yesterday on DU as to whether a sixth person died.

My suggestion would be to place this thread in the General Discussion forum since the story is over 12 hours old and from an alternate media source. Whether you self-delete a thread or the admins lock it, the end result is that nobody else can post to that thread. The good news is that neither of those actions result in any demerits against you. If you have any doubts about posting an article to a particular forum, then read the "About This Group". You may also want to change the filter settings near the top under the "Latest Threads" tab to include all forums and all categories within a specified time range and/or subscribe to different forums. I've posted (or is that polluted) the Texas Group if you want more examples.

Again, I welcome you to DU and I hope that you enjoy reading and participating in the discussions.

It's an interesting post. I often wonder where we are headed, there are so many financial shenanigans going on, even the big guys play each other for suckers with their insatiable greed. I feel it's just a matter of time before the house of cards falls again, especially since most holdings today are vaporware.
